The Team Approach
Both Joyce and John feel strongly about service to their customers. They're convinced that a major contributor to their record of satisfied (and, consequently, return) clients is their team approach to the real estate business. In addition to the licenced and active selling team members (Joyce and John), there is one full time (Scott Gothard) and two part time members.
Scott R. Gothard -- the son of Joyce and John, holds Bachelors (BS) and Masters (MBA) degrees in Business Administration. Scott is currently studying for his Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA) at the University of La Verne in La Verne California (just a short drive from Orange County). He spends his working time as Business Manager for the Gothard Team with duties ranging from Jack-Of-All-Trades through managing and paying our various vendors, business planning and forecasting, assisting in the writing, submitting, and checking of all advertising in the Register, the Homes & Land magazine, the Internet, and other publications as they are used from time to time. He spends much of his time at the computer, maintaining this web site, generating the artwork for mailers and advertising, maintaining mailing lists, and preparing Home-For-Sale brochures. He insures that business cards from agents who show your home are picked up and follow-up accomplished, and that an adequate supply of brochures are always in your home. He assists in managing the escrow, home inspection, appraisal, and title insurance process. He (along with Joyce) performs the ongoing audit of your file, and the initial audit of your closing statement to insure no errors creep in. He participates in the final audit and quality control of your closed file by John.
Team Part Timers (two different people) come in at various times to assist in typing, filing, bookkeeping, telephone follow-up, pick up and delivery services, and overload work in general.
The Total Team ? consisting of over 4500 licenced realtor-members of the Orange County Association of Realtors (OCAR) who are constantly available to us as we market your property through the Multiple Listing System (MLS), and for networking through weekly meetings at the dedicated OCAR facilities located at 2552 La Paz Drive in Laguna Hills California. This facility has over 10,000 square feet and 11 full time employees to support the memberships needs.
